Tickets go on sale today. Instead of the usual allocation of 2,000 we have been given 3,750 which is both ends of the ground!! Bury have struggled to average that many home fans for the last few seasons.

Famous fans include Danny Boyle and Jimmy Cricket the famous shit comic. I believe Danny Boyle is the one with the scarf in the attached picture.

My abiding memories of Gigg Lane was Rovers fans singing and dancing so much that the stand was bouncing up and down. I will not give the year as I am too embarrassed.

Just for fun I also attach a photo of Max.....do Bury FC have a section for dogs?

Great night but didn't we play Bury the following weekend at Ewood, last game of that season and it ended a dire 0-0? Or is my memory deceiving me?

Rovers tweeted 2,600 sold with 1,150 left. Sounds like some of the ‘excitement’ of watching the so called promotion certs is drifting away.

Any one else here going?

Not me but the lads with whom I go to home matches with are doing. I must say the Jeckyl and Hyde nature of the Rovers recent performances can't help. Dreadful fare at Oldham and other less than inspirational displays must put many off. On top of that the lad that we all love to watch will be out injured for many weeks yet.

Son and his mates are going and my daughter and her husband too , but I'm going to stay at home and watch the rugby, England v Australia, whilst the wife catches up on some of her marking . As far as the family is concerned I think I'm choosing the best option , but that's based on the assumption that England can't play any worse than they did against Argentina and that Rovers ..............well , just play like Rovers tend to play under Mowbray .

I remember the promotion clinching night, I went with 7 mates in two cars . Unfortunately I'm the only one who still has a season ticket .

Only if the feckers leave
I really don't understand your stance abbey. I can grasp the Ewood boycott but how can boycotting away matches possibly affect / damage the venkys?

3,300 now sold which is a lot better.

We will have more going to Bury than we had home fans v Barnet.

Given Woking won 0-3 at Bury last night in the FA Cup replay we may just manage a draw
