Isn't this just a commercial decision by Virgin?

You can still buy your daily dose of hate-filled right wing propaganda at your local newsagents.
How can it be a commercial decision when the Virgin has stated:
"We've decided that this paper is not compatible with the VT brand and our beliefs."

The fact is that once you're on a Virgin train - possibly for 2-3 hours - you will be allowed to purchase publications that Virgin would like you to read and not allowed to make up your own mind.

Poor old Boris Johnson, received his early morning call from old Keith Murdoch and his paymasters at the Daily Telegraph, the Barclay brothers, and had to act to shift the blame on Trump's non-visit.

As for Johnson calling Khan a ‘a puffed up pompous popinjay’? Our orally and sexually incontinent foreign secretary must have been looking in the mirror.

Meanwhile, my admiration for Jeremy Corbyn has gone up ten-fold today. Anyone who "scares" Donald Trump away deserves a pat on the back.

Trump is most definitely not welcome in this country.

Chris
Who says he is not welcome ? a few leftards and cross dressing cottagers

One of the "budget" airlines I travelled on recently had only the Mail and Express on offer - I now know about the "beliefs" of that airline and its owners. I won't be using it again.

Well done to Virgin and Branson for keeping his trains Mail stain-free. His trains are going to be renationalised though.

Trump must be a blessing for the New World Order. Every single faux pas causes such a media frenzy that they're able to slide all kinds of shit under the radar.
I think Trump set up some elected officials, again. They rushed headlong into an obvious trap.

He baited them into submitting an arguably lousy immigration bill, when he said he’d sign whatever they sent him. He then asked why they were insisting on more immigrants from countries which are hell-holes (I changed the exact word).

Some fixated on his supposed language choice, calling him a racist (on the same day Trump signed an executive order honoring Martin Luther King, Jr.), blinded to the fact many working class Americans are asking the same question Trump asked.

Some people are compulsive. It’ll be a week or two before they clue into the damage they’ve done themselves.

The BBC is an absolute joke. Taxpayer funded and yet could give the Guardian a run for its money in its level of left-wing bias. A shameful day for Britain when a US president has been bullied out of visiting by a coalition of objectionable leftards I wouldn't trust to run a stationary cupboard.

And the BBC show zero remorse for their part in it and instead double-down with a plethora of headline articles about him calling some sh*tholes sh*tholes.

It's long been a vehicle of left-wing propaganda but the level to which it doesn't even pretend anymore is shocking.

Should we write a sobbing letter to the BBC about how football fans around the country have not only called Blackburn a sh*thole but have said they want to go home after arriving here?

Personally I'm deeply, deeply offended, traumatised even. There should be counselling set up for victims like me and as a minimum statements of apology written by the hundreds of thousands of perpertrators involved.

Will the BBC champion our cause on this? Nope, ineligible skin colour, ineligible nationality and also its utter crap. Just like their hysterical Trump attacks every other day.

Trump admitted in another tweet tonight that what he actually said he's not coming here because "Britain is a shithole".

So there you have it: out of the single market and that's what our supposed "friends" across the Atlantic think of us.

Good luck with the US-UK trade deal chaps. I wonder which country it will favour most ?

Norway, obviously. Unlike your PM, the Norwegian PM is actually trying to do business.

The only good thing about May, so far as I can see, is that she’s not Corbyn.

I'd solve that in an instant. Replace the Ambassador to the US with Nigel Farage.

Next.......

Both are bullshit. If you pay your fare you should be able to choose your own publications, although refusing to travel because of the newspapers available is childish in the extreme.
