Impressive win taking all things into account . That’s the type of game a team looking to be there or there abouts wins. As Chor says , on to the weekend and three more points will make it an excellent 8 days

Up the Rovers

I'm very pleased with the win but some of the flack TM gets is pathetic,it's November were in the top 6 unbeaten in 6,and yes posters aren't happy.Rovers fans would whinge if we were in Shrewsbury position,I find it all quite disturbing.

Yes well I'm sorry but he still does not convince me. If it was an "up and coming" manager for instance rather than a consistent failure some of those people may feel differently and be more positive. There's a reason people have so much uncertainty with the current manager whereas with any "up and comer" there's always gonna be uncertainty but that's inevitable. With an experienced manager that shouldn't be the case to such a degree.

Vinjay..... Can I remind you of your previous post?
"Yeah lets take conveniently timed digs at other fans for perfectly legitimate concerns. Instead of like you know being pleased with the win."

I see the pen was for a foul on Dack. He already had an assist for the second with a similar piece of strong, direct running with the ball so does that constitute an assist too?
TM must be reading these pages because he subbed Dack after 75 mins when it was clear that barring an absolute disaster the match was won.

Tough game vs an Oxford team who are top scorers in the division - funnily enough we have the best defensive away record in the top 4 divisions I believe so something has got to give!
Something did.

Oxford didn't know what had hit them early on and didn't get into the game until they were 3 down.
After that it was fairly easy and one or two seemed to be coasting a little.
Raya a bit erratic at times. Mulgrew mom by a country mile and Dack his (now) usual mobile self. Other than that everyone chipped in with fairly solid performances
Well happy traveling north

Roger Jones the best keeper I have seen following rovers was a bit erratic at times,if he pled now clubs would be paying 30 million for him,I will say it now Raya will be a premiership keppwr in 5yrs.

Great shot stopper but he needs a cure for his
‘Butcheritis’ or else the prem will destroy him.
Btw
Jones was good but Brad was best.

Friedal was superb but very dodgy at crosses,he did it in the premier, which sir Roger never got a ch ance nice to do.give me a Roger Jones any day off a week, remember he played up frit for rovers in Sweden and score h as ttrick.

Excellent result he's taken the shackles off now from the start of games and if he really has any brains he'll leave it that way. Nothing to fear in this division when we are bang on it and yes we'll slip up occasionally but they usually respond well.

Bullish instead of sheepish from now on please Tony and a top 6 spot should be there for the taking, no excuses.
