I think we have been left to sink or swim - unfortunately we don't have enough of value to keep us afloat for long.

I hope and pray I am wrong

Nothing will happen, as said on the radio last night no one will have told them about the loss in revenue next year. Cheston and Pasha will be desperate to sell anyone to fill the gap, desperate for Mowbray to stay and filling the team with youth players.

1k per week max was it? 70% of the current team will be gone.

Not to sure of these things but if the venkys pull out from financially supporting us I'd imagine we'd skip admin for liquidation.

Re: your last comment at 1k per week max. That would still give us a player wage bill for the squad in the region of 1.5- 2m with gate receipts of very rough estimation (10000 x £15 x 30) 4,500,000 with a top up from the prem to circa 5m. So thats 3m for running costs of Ewood, the Academy and Brockhall. Nobody's getting rich there are they?

Liquidation depending on the matter of the debt owed to Venkys. Once again the logical thing to do would be to write it off but who trusts that will happen? I've already said if they liquidate this club I'll be on the next plane to Pune.

If they write off most (but not all of the debt) how much can the club service? Who knows? Depends on who would buy the club in that situation. It wouldn't be as ideal as a complete write off of course but might still be enough for people to consider taking on.

Of course someone could be insane (even Abramovich and ADUG wouldn't pay off that debt) and pay it all but like I say...insane. Somehow I think liquidation is probably about a million times more likely than that scenario.

No surprise where that vote is swinging !

Business as usual I fear after they've slashed the squad, sold what they can and put Dunn in charge then borrowed another high interest loan and dropped in a few million in share capital to service the BOI interest on the other borrowings.

On we go on the non league express.

By the time of our first L1 game:

Cheston will have been made CEO/COO/Financial Director/Lavatory Attendant and spending most days looking for a plug for the shithole I mean money blackhole.

After finally speaking to the Raos via the taxi-driver TM has resigned.

After confusion over the Davids the owners make Jason Lowe the new manager as he's out of a job, had no offers and is dirt cheap.

The senior boys team from Kirkham Grammar School have been signed on the old style schoolboy forms and play the first game at home to Pompey. This fulfills the prophecy of Ian Battersby.

Seriously: if the Raos stay and do not fund then we are doomed and the cost cutting they have instigated will bring our demise. Basically they have to put up or shut up shop.
