I remember seeing one of the most famous games of that genre "Monkey Island" from someone who had an Amiga back in the 90's. A couple of years ago I downloaded and completed it. Though won't deny I "cheated" by looking at an online walkthrough guide a couple of times lol. Haven't played any video games in ages would probably go for the retro ones mostly if I buy anything. Well that and any new GTA that comes out. Makes me feel a bit old (even though I'm younger than everyone else in this thread and quite considerably in some cases) remembering the original GTA with its simplistic graphics...but great gameplay too. I've gone off buying any football management games due to general disillusionment and the fact they still haven't evolved from being a glorified database. The whole thing seems too random to me always knew that deep down really.
I rem when my lad had Play Stations 1 & 2 sneaking into his bedroom when he was asleep and completing all the Tomb Raider and Rayman games. No easy task given the graphics on Tomb Raider. It used to wind him up no end when he saw how far ahead I was the day after. Completed 'Zoombinis' too which is about as hard a game as I've ever known. Every level is based on mathematical principles which get more and more difficult every level.
Perhaps people might be able to go to the Balearic Islands to actually enjoy the scenery and climate etc. OR being cynical is this just a ruse now that the earlier revellers there are now well into middle age, require somewhere to take the grandchildren and have more disposable income?
