I will be honest though I've not seen anything from him to think about how highly he's rated. Looked a bit dopey on the pitch for me but again he is only 17!

If he sees out his contract he'll move on for nothing won't he? Any cashing in will be done by him and his agent.

We will still get a training compensation figure which is usually something like 12k per appearance made and a basic fee plus sell on. Better than what we may have managed if he leaves for free in a few years.

He will have to work on his technique and touch though. Looks a bit rough today.

Don't we get a fee if he moves before he is 24?

Yep the compensation is the figure for under 24's similar to what we went through with Connor Mahoney and Bournemouth at the time.

It's calculated per Year training fee, usually 50k a year, 12k an appearance made before leaving, a flat fee upfront then add ons based on potential and usually a small sell on fee 10/15%.

He is only 17, thought he grew into the game today, understandably had nerves early on, needs to work on being composed but Dack kept telling him to calm/chill he did and that second half performance was incredible, did anyone see the challenge around 80 mins, he saved a certain goal there. Incredible tackle.
