Never bet on the horses. A mate told me he knew someone once so gave me a couple of tips either way, I have never lost £100.00 quicker. At least if the match goes my way I can cash-out, but I am a live-play addict at times, corners are easy money.

May as well turn this into the "tips thread" I tried to start on BRFCS until someone turned it into an animal welfare discussion.

Put £10 on Bayern at 16/1 to win 1-0 tonight. Not exactly sports betting or showing expertise in any way but I won £200 at keno this morning. :D

Won £60 betting on Juventus to win 2-0 earlier tonight. Reminds me to post more of my personal bets (and tips) on this thread.

Do horses bust out their stalls often? Perhaps a couple times a week it happens somewhere? Just saw a horse force its way out and jockey fortunate not to have been injured. I know sometimes it might be difficult getting a horse into its stall but literally busting out? Commentators didn't seem completely stunned so they must have seen it a few times.

Can you bet on this happening? Lol.

Think the best strategy might be placing a ton of bets on live scores. Nothing too large essentially maybe if you have a £50 bankroll place 50-100 bets on long odds. Also make a few bets on slightly shorter odds like 10-1 to increase the chances of getting at least some of your bankroll back. On some sites there's an option where you can sometimes "cashin" a bet early if its looking like there's a fair chance of a win. I won £168 today (starting with around £50) betting £3 on a 7-0 win just after HT when a team was 3-0 ahead. There's a good chance using this strategy that one of your bets might hit (or more on a really good day) though it could require patience. Whenever you lose your initial bankroll you could just increase stakes slightly on shorter odds and place the same number of bets on odds that are 300/1, 400/1, etc. If at some point you're £500 down just put £2 on a lot of 500/1, etc as well as a mix of shorter odd bets. Its a good way of spreading out bets too not saying use an entire £500 everytime.

Its certainly better than an accumulator in my view. It also means watching more football if there's a financial interest involved. Though have to say even with that its hard to find enthusiasm at times. Guess it makes Soccer Saturday more interesting too though chances are I'll visit Ewood more this season.

I won't bet on exact scores for Rovers though. Only an outright win. Always remember Rovers being 4-1 up and someone worried about a 5th because they had bet on 4-1. Also won't bet on someone else to win or draw and it shouldn't be hard to guess who that is lol.

Unfortunately the bad outweighs the good imo hence I never bet.

Sounds like a formula to line the bookies pockets to me Vinjay.

Yeah but to me it sounds like the right formula and as you know my convictions are strong lol. Think about it at the exceptionally long odds you don't need to increase it that much. If you start with £50 and include about ten 50p bets at 500/1 with the next £50 deposit you can keep it at £50. Then if you spend £500 (and like I say it should take ages to lose that much doing it this way) increase it to £1. Also doing it this way it takes a long time to lose any initial bankroll with so many bets at a variation of odds. Its hardly like using the martingale strategy on roulette.

Patience needed of course but aside from that...

Decided to see if I can tempt fate.

From now until the end of the season going to put a double on Wigan and Shrewsbury to win each weekend / mid-week.
Hopefully fate will not allow me to win and one or both will drop points each time :)
If the worst comes to the worst at least I will have a few quid to buy my sorrow-drowning ale with.
Good Friday's double is 3.06/1

Lost another fiver today with Wigan losing.
This is working nicely.
Can’t do it next weekend though as Shrews are at Wemberleee
