So he made his first team debut tonight but already has 31 international caps! Apparently the average age of our starting eleven was under 22 years old. Oh nearly forgot, over 1500 fans went to Bradford tonight, good effort that. I do wonder which is the more entertaining eleven, our championship side or our cup side with the young ones?
Sounds great odb but on both topics Brfc is losing financially.
1. The only cat a academy outside the prem is yielding great rewards for us as rejected players from big clubs get a great chance to resurrect their careers. However taking Phillips as an example a prospect worth upwards of 10-20m (imo) being able to leave for less than one mill just favours the big glamour clubs and starves the rovers of necessary funding to continue with cat A status which is getting more expensive by the year.
2. A large away following is great ..... for chucking £'s into our rivals coffers and starving Brfc of necessary funding again! I understand lots of supporters prefer to travel away and boycott Ewood park. If that is an example of joined up thinking by any fans then I'm a Dutchman!

I just want to say how much I enjoyed last night.
A friendly crowd. Pleasant banter with Rovers and Bantams fans in an excellent curry house pre-game. A full ‘blood n guts’ type game with both teams playing some decent football.
Bradford should go up this season, they have some decent players and a good structure to the team. £15 for a ticket and £10 for the curry plus soft drink along with a Rovers win….what more could you ask for?
