If only I had put a pound on them to qualify with 5 to go. Those three deliver so often it is unreal, I hope they win it now.

For me they are not as good as when Xavi (One of my all-time favourites) was running the midfield but still a team to go down in the history books and a result that will last forever.

Will be interesting to see who takes over from Enrique at the end of the season

That should be a good game in Monaco tonight if the first legs anything to go by , having said that I'm tempted to lump on 0-0 ha

Proving the old saying 'The league table doesn't lie' to be true.

Not Champions League but Man Utd's substitute nowadays the Europa League. Dire match tonight which was just enough for them to scrape through with. Mourhino was on full defensive duty again tonight as Pogba recreated Graeme Souness famous gaffe by doing a passable impression of Carlton Palmer's rubbish cousin! I said at the beginning of the season (in another life) that the football world has gone mad when the new Carlton is worth £90m and Guardiola agreed to stump up 50m for a defender who can't defend and spends most saturdays apologising to his teammates.
Most comical moment tonight was when Mourhino himself saved the Russian supporters the bother of throwing bananas on the pitch to coloured players by doing so himself! I wonder if he'll get fined by UEFA?
Anyway Hoddle criticised him severely whilst a pent up and furious Roy Keane absolutely savaged him! He reckons Man Utd is too big a job for Jose.
Quality isn't good but the content is hilarious...
Enjoy.....:D

I gave up on the "Champions League" years ago when they changed the format.
Now the real aim is to make money first, and football becomes a secondary issue.
imo it should be for league champions only.
It should be played as a midweek league, not as (ultimately) a knock out competition, and the winner would be the team sitting at the top of the pile when all fixtures have been played.

But that would be too simple....

I preferred the old format which was a knock out from the start with no cedeing. Any 'League' format effectively protects the big clubs from giant killing episodes by underdogs. This in turn is imo unhealthy as it makes the wealthy clubs wealthier by constantly ensuring they can afford the best players whilst it is also anti spectator. After all all the world loves a good giant killing don't they? Mourhino's bleating highlights the attitudes that are so wrong at the top. Lets be honest every club (except Leicester) would like a fixture list like Man Utd had a week ago wouldn't they?

It should be for the Champions only instead of feeding the top four with millions and thereby enabling them to stay at the top to the disadvantage of the rest.
