4 days of the best National Hunt racing starts on Tuesday, when you know full well that each and every horse will be truly trying!
For those that have never been, it should be on your 'bucket list' of sporting events to attend, it's a fantastic day (or days) out.
Anybody going or got any hot tips?

You're doing well ABBEY, I'm having a mare.
I met a random Irish lad at half time on Saturday, he was over from Co. Cork, taking in the game at Ewood and then was at Cheltenham all week.
He seemed well connected in racing circles but the only 'tip' I could get out of him was Our Duke, so I'm going to have a decent punt. Be rude not too and I can't do any worse to be fair.

Aye ...not done bad ,all in all with matched betting I reckon 250 made . A big chunk in the spends for our visit to London next month

Our Duke was well tipped but came nowhere.
Reminds me of a spot of corporate at Ascot in the mid 90's. Lovely lunch in excellent company in the closest marquee to the Grandstand, all overseen by a beautiful table hostess called Penny. Must have cost a packet and after lunch in strides Johnny Francome to give a 15 minute talk which included all his tips and predictions for each race. Lovely day in warm sunshine right next to the Royal Enclosure except for ...... the fact not one of the buggers he tipped came anywhere near to winning! He may as well have selected by throwing a dart at the list of runners blindfolded! Next time I'll stick to which horse has a nice name or a pretty face.
