When we had the extension built on our house up here this year I had a charging point put on the outside of the house.
My Passat GTE only has a 30 mile range but it takes under two hours to charge.
I love that car and would happily get another.

Mine's a Passat too, an All Track, great car too and superb in the snow. Unfortunately they stopped making em two years ago as everybody wants SUV's these days apparently.

I looked at a Tiguan before the bmw as I wanted to privately own my car before work made it nigh on impossible. The Tiguan looks great on the outside but the cabin was very simple nothing like the quality I’ve seen in the passats

If I was doing a lot of mway miles I'd look at a Skoda superb. I'd prob have one now if they imported the scout version which they make for the continental market.

IMO you could do a lot worse than checking out a Hyundai i40 tourer, they drive really well. Now that they don’t make them anymore a bargain can be had on a used one.
