Brilliant day. Hamilton now has a 28 point lead over the Kraut.

Looks to me like the 2 Ferrari's had planned to sandwich the Red Bull and over did it

So, Hamilton now has a lead of 59 points and could win the title next time out.
Sebastian Vettel, the gift that keeps on giving :)

Hamilton says he wants to be knighted!

For doing the job he was paid to do (and being paid very handsomely)?

He should be so lucky that he's had a chance to work his hobby.
As the great Paul Keating once said (on knocking back a government award) "I was paid to do the job......" there was more but I can't remember.
Hamilton, be satisfied with the millions you've earned.

Well, if Bradley Wiggins can have one for riding a bike and Steve Redgrave for rowing a boat, why not Hamilton for driving a car?

Jackie Stewart has one and Lewis has now surpassed him.

I might be wrong but I don't remember them brazenly asking to be knighted Wilpshire. Who does he think that he is? I'd imagine he's reduced his chances significantly as the Queen does not like to be told what to do and what not to do.

He didn't ask, context is everything

The F1 champion received an MBE in 2009 and admits he would very much like a return to Buckingham Palace.

“I have missed the Queen since I had lunch with her when she invited me to the Palace,” he said.

“I have always wanted to go back, that would be the greatest honour. I have been trying to represent England the best way I can and if that is at some stage recognised by the Queen I would be incredibly honoured.”
