Tragic news coming in from Leicester. Looks like the owners helicopter has crashed near the stadium. The pictures on sky are awful.

Reading the sketchy reports I fear there were a number of people on board at the time. Awful scenes.

Just sat reading the full story now really sad news, it will be hard times for family and friends to manage through, the hurt of loss is the price we pay for love, of the owners were in there they did love the club and will be remembered down the ages

Lest we forget.
Don't want to get in the wrong sort of debate on this but I was irked today to say the least when some commentator or other was describing the late Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha as the best Premier League Chairman ever after what he did for Leicester City. Can't rem if it was on talksport or BBC breakfast but it fairly riled me.

I don't want to be churlish but I don't believe that we should have had a minutes silence at Ewood today. I know it's a modern trend to indulge in collective grief rather than be accused of being heartless but if anything this should have been restricted to Cardiff for sure, the Premier League possibly or at the most clubs that the Leicester chairman had visited in his position as Leicester chairman. We were all shocked and saddened by the newsreels last week 5 people died in that crash but only one appeared on our screen. Sorry but I prefer to reserve these minute's silences for events closer to home.

Just as an aside I was immensely impressed by the way Kaspar Schmeical spoke on MoTD. Best way to describe it was that he didn't sound like a typical footballer. An old potato of mine is how educated and mature most footballers from Germany Holland and the Scandinavian countries come across. S much more mature and more intelligent in the main than the average. Can only come from their society, their education and their upbringing imo. We would do well to take a leaf out of their book.

It certainly is. Maximum exposure and therefore benefit (aren't you compassionate, have a pat on the back), minimum effort.

If everyone other than Leicester fans were really as upset as they say over a man they don't know at all on any personal level, then why doesn't everyone fork over tens of pounds whenever they pass a homeless person? Does everyone visit their elderly relatives daily? Is there mass blubbing at seeing any stranger in a hospital bed?

Human empathy isn't that high because it would be debilitating to living a life if it was. This whole Leicester owner grief is obviously fake. I don't care, neither do 99% of everyone else. Only difference is I don't care about pretending to care either.

The thing is, I never met Jack but I was upset when he died after all he did for us supporters. When we show that memorial video and it gets to the bit where they play “Time to Say Goodbye” I still get tears to this day.

Imagine how we all would have felt if he had died in a helicopter crash on Nuttal Street after a game? The Leicester fans reaction and sorrow is completely understandable as far as I’m concerned.
