Sickening challenge between Taylor and Coleman in the Rep Ireland v Wales match last night. I saw it live and caught my breath at the severity of the collision, thankfully the TV decided not to show a replay. It bucks the trend because most serious injuries are caused by relatively innocuous challenges in the main. I must say at this point and as I say I only saw it once at normal speed that there didn't seem to be anything malicious in Taylors challenge, just a full blooded collision between two players at top speed and both equally committed to winning the ball. Seemed to me that either could have broken their legs. I will stand to be corrected though. Hope he's soon mended because I've always rated Coleman.

I stayed up and watched Scotland. Well deserved win but like watching a League 2 game.

I thought Cairney might have got a game but probably a bit too agricultural for his style.

Tbh I was a bit harsh. You would do ok in this years standard of Championship level football say mid to lower table.

In the very watchable WC match Scotland did have a good first half. With luck and better finishing it could easily have been 3-0.

Impressed by Tierney, Robertson and Anya in his cameo. Mulgrew and others were solid. Brown handled himself well after being kicked.

Apart from when playing England I want you to do well. I remember when Scotland produced some of the best players in the English leagues. Now in seems to produce lots of managers but thats another story........

I'm only playing, we all know we suck balls these days. We have one or two good players and I do think we should be doing better but he seems to be bullet proof.

I remember (well from videos etc.) Argentina 78 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/sportscotland/asportingnation/article/0002/print.shtml) we were 3rd favourites, Dalglish, Gemmill, Johnston etc etc and well we lost to Peru, drew with Iran and then beat Holland and went crashing out. So even when we're sporting some of the best players on the planet, we suck balls....

Anyway I prefer Tennis these days for some reason???
