If you get a chance, watch the intro to the Tonga v Samoa game.
Two teams doing their Haka at each other.
At the end of the game they all came together in a group "hug".

Sport at it's best, especially when they aren't being paid squillions.

So they have separate World cups for Union and League? I have no particular interest in rugby so not really sure how they handle the League/Union call ups.

That sounds like more of a Polynesian thing. I don't like handshakes and hugs being part of football. Barcelona and Real Madrid players shouldn't be expected to hug. Their fans don't want to see it and given the current relations between Spain and Catalonia that's not likely to change anytime soon.

Aussies through to the final, but world sports can learn a lot from the way Fiji have approached the game, before, during, and after.
They sing a hymn before their game, play it hard and then celebrate on the field (win lose or draw) with their opponents after the game.
Whatever you think of RL, this approach was very refreshing.

Is no one watching this Final. Enthralling and not a place for faint hearts. Quite close at 6-0 but I get the feeling that Australia have just too much for England. England have had a couple of real chances and a poor pass has let them down both times. It's a bit like the difference between the Championship and the Prem. Premier league strikers only need one chance to score.

Phew... Out of gaol as Aussies have another try disallowed. That might have proved game over.

Damn! 6-0 result. Great display and a truly competitive match. Not often the Aussies have looked knackered and tired out in a match but they did today and long before the end too. Quite simply we had our chances and for one reason or another we spurned them.
