Took the Mrs to see beauty and the Beast at imax, it's pretty safe but great if you like the original, it's well on course to easily break the billion barrier as well.

Nothing stops Disney at the moment

Watched 'Logan' last night. The violence bordered on Tarantino-esque at times but overall one of the better films in the franchise.
He does love sticking his claws in people's heads for sure. Still a bit baffled by the whole plot as surely Prof X would have known why they were disappearing?

Watched Monster Trucks & Kong Island with the grandkids.... trucks was quietly fantastic and Kong was too much trying to be Jurassic Park.

Cool, just got Monster Trucks so will give that a go. Is it a "kids film" (ie, 8 and under)? Not sure off the adverts of they'd like it or not.

Watched Central Intelligence on sky movies last night and really enjoyed it. Quite humourous.

Watched Hacksaw Ridge the other night. Granted the subject matter is gory to say the least but the film itself looked beautiful on my 65" TV with the amp turned up to max. Shit myself when the Jap guy jumped out at a cave he was hiding in.
Mel Gibson has certainly turned himself around and made an excellent film.
I know it's based on a true story and they have old interviews with the real people at the end, but I still wonder how much was embellished for the big screen.

I took my kids to 'Spice Girls - The Movie' a few years ago. They got narked with me when I fell asleep and started snoring loudly and then my mobile went off.

Did anyone else see the film?

Well I watched the new Batman animated movie with Harley Quinn and loved it as all nerds do... Harley wasn't as attractive as her big screen counter-part but still appealed.

Last proper movie I saw was Valerian City of a thousand planets. Whilst I am glad all worked out well as it always does in every movie I have ever seen, it was dross and not worth 2 pence.
