Can they afford him? He must be on a king's ransom at t'turf. A generous profit based bonus if I were to take a guess.

Please ,please , please make this happen Mr Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha .

I left Ewood thoroughly depressed last night , as depressed as I've ever felt about the future of our famous club

The prospect of Dyche leaving Burnley would cheer me up no end !

They won the title just over a year ago and this is the best they can do? Look on the continent there's countless options other than the outdated notion of hiring someone just for being English. Its supposed to be the entertainment business and given the lack of sporting principles that's really all football has left. So why appoint someone with all the marketing appeal of a block of wood?

Maybe Burnley already have a succession plan in mind. Its not like they are unaware he might leave (at current time anyway barring a collapse in form) and its something they have probably come to terms with. Who knows when Rovers will ever come to terms with what has happened here.

Might be about to find out soon.
I must say if there is a more disciplined, well drilled and hard working team than Dyche's Burnley I don't know who it is. Every time I see the TV picture featuring Burnley whether in attack or defence there appears to be at least 7 players in the frame! Guardiola's teams are the same but he has world class players at his disposal.

Can't believe some people are moaning (usual British manager outdated BS) because Voldemort wasn't given the Leicester job.

I wish he had. It'd be funny.
Pisses me off how we got so much shit in the press and media over our 'unfair' treatment of the likes of Kean and Ince for being really horrid and not giving a rookie and a black manager a chance. Has anybody yet read the critics (like Oliver Holt and Darren Lewis) ever putting pen to paper and admitting that they know sweet FA about football and that they were wrong and we were right? Must say I'm not holding my breath.

Bugger! The dingles win again! If there is a team that works harder for the cause I don't know which it is. Take nothing away from them though because graft costs nowt but so few professional teams appear able to match their collective effort.

The one good thing about dingles winning last night is that it keeps Dyche in the limelight as Everton look around for their next manager

Bit lucky though wasn't it? Remember when Crewe won at Ewood never seen such robbery though unlike Arsenal there was a tendency to be wasteful in front of goal in 99-2000. Don't think the League Cup final was quite so one way traffic though Friedel certainly earned his MOTM award. Rovers deserved to win as a team v Spurs that day but can't quite say the same about the Highbury win. The 2-0 win at Ewood that season was more deserved.

Did Tommy Briggs ever get dementia? He would have headed a cannonball if it had been fired into the penalty area.
