First one he was offside but played on. Didn't you here the linesman explaining the rules?
Second was a stupid kick by a very expensive player. No need to do it when he'd had chance to clear the ball. Seems only you and Klopp didn't agree with the decisions amo.
Personally I'd say that was the best piece of linesman(ing?) under pressure that I can ever recall ....... or at least not since 1966!

I see the gunners 'supporters' are calling for Wenger to go again. Plain as day to me that Wenger has never replaced adequately replaced the strength that he had in the spine of his team with Keown, Vierra and Henry. Lots of pretty footballers since but without the commanding presence that those three brought. However it's difficult to shop at Harrods when you only have M&S money. The Prem has to wake up to the fact that in terms of spending power (now that Abromovic is in cruise control) the 'big 6' have now become the 'really big 2'. City and United are way ahead of all the rest in that respect and whilst Gardiola has put together an amazing squad Mourhino has by and large bought badly. Truth is that over the Wenger years the Arsenal fan's have (to quote Stan Ternent) "Champagne tastes on beer money". Lets be honest about this no one under the age of 40 will really remember the defensive '1-0 to the Arsenal' shite that they used to play countless for decades will they?

As much as I might try to kid myself , when the big business conglomerate comes up against that lot from West Yorkshire , I'd still want Manchester United PLC to beat Burnley FC , 100 times out of 100

I tend to agree although tbh we really shouldn't. It should give us hope. Small town teams beating the big boys is what football is all about...... especially when you support a small town team too.

I admire supporters of small teams. Any silly bugger of weak character can turn their back on their own small club and become instead claim to be a 'BIG MAN U' fan. (btw anybody ever met anyone who claimed to be a 'little man u' fan? Might I add that at this point Man Utd can be replaced by Lpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs etc. CrikeyI know some plonkers who even abandoned BRFC to give their support to Man City once the megabucks arabs showed up!:imp:
As such I'd much rather have a reasonable chat about football at some bar with a dingle than a plastic. Fair enough we'd prob be circling each other like dogs before a scrap but let's be honest we do have so much more in common after all. Doesn't help of course these days with them being such a rich club and us being paupers just a few short years of the situation being the other way around.

Not for me always enjoy palace losing .
I know why you don't like Palace but feel any Rovers fan could present a stronger argument for hating United more without anyone being even slightly surprised. I'm not just talking about ones who aren't old enough to remember the Palace game. As for Burnley/United people already know I've argued my position countless times (and to be fair people like Revidge Blue have acknowledged getting more worked up for games v United than anyone else though I'll note he's far more interested in Burnley than me) so no point really going into it. I know both of us had unpleasant arguments about United (though since I joined this forum we have moved beyond that haven't we?) but I'm sure you're not shocked by any Rovers fan who hates United more than Palace however old they are.

I know some plonkers who even abandoned BRFC to give their support to Man City once the megabucks arabs showed up!:imp:
Maybe that plonker got tired of the club being belittled and being ignored on numerous justifiable gripes. Maybe the plonker actually had some genuine admiration for City even before their takeover. Also that plonker may have known in 2008 where City were heading but didn't immediately camp outside the Etihad. Or even in 2012 when that plonker may have attended a few games there with a friend and barely been since despite supposedly being camped outside the stadium for 7 years. That plonker may have been so disillusioned with football that then and even now it was the primary factor for any disinterest.

Can't believe some want dingles to beat utd ...does not make any sense to me.
I don't think they do Abs. They/we want United beaten but not so much as they want the Dingles to lose but we all hate plastics.

I noted moving past certain arguments with Abbey maybe its about time we did the same Theno on Allardyce, Lowe, etc! I would like to add the Walkers (for the stress levels if nothing else) but that would be too unrealistic!
