Venkters own fault Drog,they hired the idiots.It's no use moaning when they made the appointments.
Indeed so. But it doesn't matter who was at fault when the Titanic hit the iceberg does it? It still went down with all hands.

Just noticed that Walsall is sold out at 2100 and that there are another 500 tickets being allocated. So thats 2600 out of Walsalls total home average support of approx 4000. (It's actually 4600 but I'm making the assumption that's about 4000 actual Walsall home supporters).

BRFC Community Trust (who do an excellent job btw) give 200 free tickets to local mosques for each home game (schools also get some free tickets).

I would like to know what the take up is on those 200 tickets in terms of:
- how many attend;
- how many return and pay for tickets;
- feedback on the ‘experience’?

Do they give 200 free tickets to Catholic and CoE churches ?
When you say schools , which schools?

Who uses free tickets from mosques ? Children or just anyone ?
If it's anyone then that's wrong ,why should fans have to buy tickets when mosques get them free ? If it's for kids then ok that's cool .

Rovers v Peterborough moved from 21st April to Thursday 19th April.

Good old Sky - they clealy run English football. I can’t see more that say 200 Peterborough fans making the trip.

I don’t know Abbey. I am aware they give tickets to schools where there is an interaction with The Community Trust. All I want to know is whether it is effective and builds up the supporter base.

I know what you mean ..however ,not aimed at you pal but in general,,it really pisses me off when you see free tickets to mosques, Islam only schools ( even Wilfred's had to change to accommodate Muslims ) and a bollywood theatre on top of our bastion waves. Topped with millions from the government to help intergrate ( yea right that's gonna happen ) .
Anyhows ...back on topic .
My says we've only one Saturday game left v Southend ..blimy we have more wierdo kick off times than leeds

What do we need to do to improve Rovers Home gates:

1. Offer free entry tickets?
2. Tickets for £5 initiative?
3. A free pie at 1/2 time (presuming you are still in the ground)?
4. Strippers at 1/2 time (male, female and other of course)?

Can we have a poll please? Other sensible ideas welcome.

None of the above...... History proves that the best method is just to keep winning.

Stopped the rot at least.
However unless another Uncle Jack turns up, gets us into the Prem (for a series of relegation battles this time) and the plastic glory hunters return then we'll never see over 20k on 3 sides again for a league match.

You tell me what bucked the trend......... http://european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/blar.htm

Just as an exercise a quick cut and paste into excel reveals that our average over the past 50 years is 15700 and that includes the 20 years of what most would deem unprecedented success under the Walkers. Without that the average over the other 30 years is about 11400.
Given the changes in demography and society (when was the last time anyone saw kids playing football under the street lights? / White flight / and people (mainly young) moving away for work I don't think that we are doing too badly. Whichever way one views the facts I'd suggest that our potential attendance figures are very limited.

The only thing that will bring the fans back is the loons from pune doing one.You will disagree but the number of friends off mine who refuse to attend bec as use of them is staggering.
