Certainly on that showing, he looks a real find. I had never heard of him so presumed it was his debut, which it was. His defence will have to be worked on because he looks as light as a feather but attacking wise he was tricky to say the least.

First team debut. He played in the u19s last season, signed from an amatuer welsh club I think. Of course we have yet another great prospect coming through in Liam Marshall - I really like the look of this lad, think Manfredi and Tierney will have their work cut out getting the spot when they come back.

Wish I could ring my bloody doctor at 4.00am. :mad: Weird idn't it that I can get a vet in a couple of hours but it takes days to get to see a Doctor? Bloody prima donna's need to know what it's like to actually have to EARN a living!

Not just any doctor, Prof. Chris Brooks, one of the countries leading sports medical doctors, he's also a qualified dentist, and a director at Wigan Warriors!

Manged to catch most of the Canberra Raiders V Manley game yesterday, cracking game, went to golden point with Manley coming out on top 20-18 having never looking like winning the game for large parts.

When asked who I support (in the NRL) it's the Sharks, and whoever is playing Manly.

Maybe abs, but both teams were a game short of fitness.
England were under the gun in the first half and were lucky not to go in at half time down by a lot more than 4 points.
Can't believe the aussies didn't use the right wing more. Holmes (who plays for my local team) has great pace, and he was getting crowded out by Dougan (who lives about 100 meters from me).
Second half England really put it to the Aussies and only lost the game to a doubtful penalty and then when they were pushing the game, to an intercept.
Hope Sam isn't badly injured.

The final eight in the NRL have been decided.
If Brisbane beat Manly in the last game of the final round (which they should), there'll be two point between first and eighth.
The top four on 34 points and the next four on 32.
Very close this year.

It's long been my opinion that the Rovers youth team should spend one close season training with their Rugby League equivalents.

Weird isn't it why footballers spend half their time on the pitch pretending to be injured whilst RL players spend equal amounts of time pretending NOT to be hurt! Must say when I played and took a whack on the legs I tried to not show that it was hurting, I believed that it would intimidate the other player and lead them to think 'he's a right ard bastard'. Worked with some and put them off their game but it didn't work with others.

It's been a superb season for saints, apart from the challenge cup debacle.

There is a RL player in the news for the wrong reasons. I do not know what he is meant to have done. Seems like everyone else does. Cannot find details of the actual incident. I have not a clue how to search these things.
