Thought I'd kick this off.
This is a massive summer for the rovers with lots of questions to answer and things to do before the season starts.

Will Greg broughton still be at the club when the season starts? Sure we are cash strapped but what has he brought of note to Brfc?
I've a feeling that a whole new forward line will be needed as Gallagher, Dolan and Szmodics all have huge question marks over them. If bids come in we have to negotiate hard (with a bad hand of cards) and then cash in.
Ditto in midfield as Travis could be moving on too. Can Buckley get his once promising career back on track? He doesn't seem uppermost in eustace's mind to me. Can JRC finally find his best role in the side? How will the long term injured fare? Will Sigurdsson, hedges, Wharton, Barnes and Leonard be sorted over the close season?
The defence needs strengthening with one or two utility players, whilst we surely need to find a better no2 in the nets.
Are any of the academy lads ready to step up? Batty and gilsenen currently seem closest to the 1st team but is another 'Adam' on the way through? Finneran... will we manage to keep hold of him long enough to see him make regular first team appearances and go on to make money from a sale?
Lots of questions and as yet not many answers.

I was going to start another thread, but this one is as good as any:

I know its half a world away, a different league,, but can we take anything from this guys plan?
It's a bit of a read, the story of a football club in a small catchment area.
Read it through, it has two English connections, and a couple of names I've mentioned on here in the last year.

Three bits of club news.
David Brown BRFC chairman 79-83 passed away recently.
Ian Silvester left the club last month.
Gregg Broughton left the club last week.

Hopefully it's a sign that the club have already decided who they want as Director of Football and are close to wrapping it up. It would be nice if the Board, Director of Football, and Head Coach are all aligned in their expectations as early as possible for just one transfer window. The Owners had better have their financial plan together before throwing spanners in the works again.

Since your post, we've got two answers.

Will Greg broughton still be at the club when the season starts?
No.

Will Sigurdsson, hedges, Wharton, Barnes and Leonard be sorted over the close season?
If Wharton's recent physio bed interview is anything to go by, he'll be out until the back end of next season at the earliest.

Can JRC finally find his best role in the side?
I think we've already seen it. Right-back or right wing-back. Brittain had a poor season. He has an occasional good game, but he's not consistent enough. Rankin-Costello was extremely consistent in that position. Put him back!
