A decent offer from Rovers. It is open to all and not just renewals.

I have already renewed my ST and urge all other supporters to consider a ST. I have not looked at the original dark side for some time but I suspect they are rover the moon that Rovers have both issued ST prices early and they have reduced prices.

Well done Rovers 👏👏

Oh I suspect some on there will find something to moan about! I have however no intention of checking.

Done well. Hopefully we can get over 12,000 sold that surely has to be the target. Especially if they over direct debits.

This really ticks me off....... https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co....-three-year-stadium-ban-season-ticket-holder/

I have to say I don't know the circumstances of the above nor any details, but my mate who is now over 75 took an old school chum, Man City supporter (and retired bank manager) to Ewood (JWU) for the Rovers v Man City cup tie 8 seasons ago. Both are from Whitefield btw. City scored just before HT and the 'guest' raised his arms to cheer and clap. Cue the usual finger pointing, swearing and bringing the stewards attention to the pair. Result? They were both told to leave**. My mate was disgusted at the treatment and has refused to buy a ST at Ewood ever since.
What sort of a hollow victory was this for the surrounding supporters, not to mention the club itself who must worry about dwindling ST sales / dodgy boxes / Blackburn's geographical situation and demography?

I can't stand pygmy thinking at all but with all the space above both goals surely there could be a policy initiated to accommodate such situations? Crikey never mind old school chums from 50 years ago they could have been brothers / Dad and Lad or even husband and wife from different camps. I was brought up when supporters mingled all around the ground, I've watched matches from the Stretford End and South Stand at OT, the main stand at Anfield, the North (home) stand at the Reebok etc and never come to any bother nor caused any. It's just pathetic business management from a club that cannot afford to piss supporters off!

** Just as an aside isn't this some form of discrimination? Would they have been turfed out if they were black / brown? The stewards would have been in a right old tizz in that situation wouldn't they? How about two ladies of the same age?

You can’t discriminate against inbred supporters they are exempt. Anyway the chap was warned about getting tickets for them. Their presence in any home areas will only result in trouble, especially near me.

Yeah sorry I disagree Drog. We all know what Burnley fans are like. Killed a Forest fan 20 years ago, killed a Blackpool fan a few months ago. Anyone helping them get into home ends is directly responsible for people get hurt IMO. There will be a lot of trouble on Tuesday regardless but last thing anyone needs is muppets selling Burnley fans tickets making it worse.

Even so a three year ban is excessive.

I know a bit about the Blackpool / Dingles ‘incident’ from a Blackpool based journalist. Obviously a court case will result so I can’t say too much but the Blackpool lad was far from innocent and I expect the defence will be based on the Dingle bloke defending himself from an attack. Thankfully much is on cctv.

As for selling Burnley fans tickets where do you draw the line? I have some very good friends who are Burnley fans, guys I would trust my life with (as it should be regardless of allegiance). What happens if I buy them a ticket? They are not hooligans but they are still opposition fans.

I have also bought tickets at Ewood over thh HR e years for Bolton, PKE and Leeds fans / good friends.

If Rovers banned me for 3 years I am sure I could legally challenge the Club and win the case. I would not think twice about legal action against Rovers.

Has everybody bought their season tickets? I got mine in JW Upper for £315 quid. I won't be able to get to a lot of them but it's still a bargain. If any pensioner living near Baxenden wants to use mine when the weather is too bad for me to go please let me know.
