I'd argue any form of media does though. Papers on the whole seem to be on the right of the political spectrum, tv channels on the left, the internet often filtered to wherever it thinks you are. Best bet is to try most and use your intelligence to decide on their validity. Its either that or try none and know nothing, but if everyone did that democracy wouldn't work.

Correct! I've been misquoted in the press on a number of occasions to suit the slant which the editor wants to put on the story.

Inflation edging down as forecast , by 0.1% . The Bank of England has said it thinks inflation peaked at the end of 2017 and will fall back to its target of 2% this year. With interest rates still at record lows , unemployment at it's lowest rate for 40 years , numbers in employment at record highs and the stock market booming, which is great for the vast majority of working people who have private pensions , have the economic figures ever been this good? As a country , we now need to become more productive , leading to higher wage rises ( which might mean unemployment rising unfortunately ) and produce manufactured goods for export rather than consume imports . As the EEF said , the realistically valued pound and the government's industrial strategy is a step in the right direction .

Thank heavens inflation didn't go up by 0.1% or the Brexit bashing , left wing BBC would have been forecasting Armageddon

This year it's the 50th anniversary of Enoch Powell's warning which became ridiculously labelled the "Rivers of Blood" speech by the press and media. This Panorama investigation is 50 years too bloody late!
"We're having to justify our allegiances with the country that we live in," says somebody called Gulistan Khan who is described as a prominent figure in Blackburn's muslim community. "But why is it that we have to do it every time. We're having to apologise for others and it has a huge impact on Muslims up and down the country."

The answer is right there for anyone who wants to see it! It's obvious to anyone of my generation from these parts that any division is not race related at all. Although immigration was totally unnecessary integration was going along just fine until the introduction of Islam drove in the wedge.

Former MP for Blackburn, Jack Straw, chairman of the Blackburn Youth Zone, said this is not the Blackburn that its residents see on a day to day basis.
He said: “Where people live will always be a matter of personal choice. “But despite the false picture painted by Panorama, to my certain knowledge Blackburn with Darwen has come a long way in the past 10 years to bring people of different faiths and communities better together.
“The most ‘segregated’ areas in Britain are not boroughs like Blackburn, but those composed only of white people. “Moreover, some of the greatest and most persistent ‘segregation’ in the UK is by social class. “My bet is that few if any of Panorama’s own journalists live in areas of social housing. “They, like everybody else, will have gravitated to live in areas with people like themselves.

How many days does he stay in Blackburn then and how many split between his other two homes in Witney (Cameron's old constituency) and his home in London? Might be revealing to find that out cos he certainly doesn't appear to be here much these days that's for sure.

That panorama article really does hit home the futility of integration involving Islam. The government have tried throwing money at it, tried commissioning clever people to do reports on it, and after getting precisely nowhere have given up and are ignoring it.

The problem is obvious when considering what "integration" is. Its a compromise, Muslims become more western, we become more Islamic.

How will Muslims westernise when Islamic schools are sprouting up at breackneck speed? They won't. Why would westerners voluntarily choose to wind the clock back 1000 years and become more Islamic? They won't.

It won't work and the only thing to be done is join the hypocritical liberals who've championed it and move somewhere else.

What a load of bullshit. If anything that programme didn't show how hopelessly segregated Blackburn is. "This is our country" one Muslim said. This will never be your country until you stop building mosques with minarets on them and stop slitting animal's throats. Whites are still moving out of Blackburn to get out of their way. I wonder what percentage of Rovers supporters still live in the town?
It's significant that every politician and the Blackburn councillors refused to be interviewed. It's too embarrassing that they have totally failed to even acknowledge that there is a problem.

They said no more of their schools are being built , what a load of bullshit. There is an 800 pupil school being built next to BT on Sumner St. The only saving grace is they will be brainwashed on the foundation of million galleons of pigs blood and bacon butties from the old café .
