I think the problem with remainers Drog is they don't have the capacity to lead, they have to be lead and instructed at every turn.
This may be ok in an ideal world but it is not, never has been and never will be an ideal world for all.
Being lead by the EU is never going to work long term as they are the incarnation of the 3rd Reich.
The EU's demands are getting more and more extreme by the day and in most cases ridiculous.
Heaven help the rest of Europe when Juncker and co have the EU army at it's disposal, oh wait a minute, it will be please please pretty please Great Britain, can you get rid of the tyrants again, we fooked up AGAIN

And you had your answer in post 798.

It's obvious that this "traitor" business is an attempt by the right wing to shut down the Brexit debate, the type of rhetoric that prevents people even highlighting the problems Brexit faces.

Ministers know these problems could turn the public mood against Brexit. They know that the project they are engaged in is based on lies and comes with very high stakes in order to secure unclear goals.

So they have established a counter-narrative. This is not about Brexit, or their own stupidity and incompetence. It's "Us" versus "Them".

Anyone with an ounce of sense isn't taken in by it, and can see it for what it is. It won't work.

My post was 799! How did you provide an answer before I'd asked the question? Anyway like Lord Haw Haw, come the day of reckoning you'll be swinging from the gallows too.

Did I hear that 'bunkum' is now a banned word elsewhere? If so it's what comes when you appoint mods in short pants who treat Corbyn as a latter day Pied Piper. I wish he'd spirit the little buggers away too.

The same with some some columnists, especially the Guardian type, don't know how they get away with child labour

Well, if despite Brexit, the UK is getting highly paid software engineering jobs in London and highly paid pharma jobs ( 800 in Manchester - see my Nov 27th post ) but losing across all parts of the country , however difficult that might be for the workers involved, 800 jobs on what are probably in the main part time & zero hours contracts ( those much loved & used by Red Ken McClusky & Unite the Union ) that ‘s great progress for UK plc in both productivity , skills & better wages .

So, more investment and jobs in London. Nothing changes for those "left behind" in the north who voted for Brexit.

Still, if you want to make a silly point here's another one

.............because of Brexit

Chris
No it isn't. That is a flaccid argument. Read the article and apply a bit of grey matter. It's because of internet shopping. I'm not saying it's great BUT it would have happened with or without brexit.

Thenodrog, I agree with you but the point I was trying to make is that Toys R Us is no more linked to Brexit than the Facebook story, which OnlyOneTugay (great player by the way) was claiming.

What do you think of today's shenenighans between London, Dublin, Belfast and Brussels ? I think we can all agree that this country is one holy mess because of Brexit.

Can I just say well done to all who voted leave in bringing about this humiliating clusterfuck? Great job guys!

Look on the bright side John, no deal means we walk away and save a fortune

I'll go with that yoda. Lets just say we are leaving on that date and that's that! No money handed over simply to get europe out of the sh1t other than to meet previously agreed financial obligations. For future trade conditions let the businessmen get on with it. UK and Europe will still be a symbiotic relationship whatever happens.

So, no Brexit deal, a hard border between NI and the Republic, troops deployed to police it, the collapse of the GFA , and the return of the Troubles.

Is that how the Brexitards see it ?

Just go back to how it was. Won't it?

Chris , I didn't really want to reply to your specific point in my first reply about the reasons for Toys R Us job losses because as you said you made a silly point . I just thought I'd highlight the positives from what is a tragedy of 800 job losses.

However as you mentioned me in your reply to Drog I feel duty bound. You failed to understand my "despite Brexit " post because I'm pretty sure you didn't read the detail in the article I posted . Perhaps it was a rushed reply

If you read the article about the creation of the jobs in London it refers to Julian David of techUK, which represents 950 technology firms in the UK. He was welcoming a world-leading company such as Facebook investing in London despite the uncertainties surrounding Brexit. Get the connection now ?

Having said all that I find your posts fun to read ,so keep at it , but remember that old saying " the devil is in the detail "

The only retards that are trying to impose a hard border in Ireland are the EU commission with the aim of grabbing Northern Ireland for the 4th Reich
