Castlefields is lovely in the evening, coal smoke from the narrow boats and all the original cobbles etc.

Two courses for £12 ? Fantastic. Last time I had the mussels then fish and chips :)
It's grand is Manchester on occasion but getting home's the problem.

Al-Bacio Italian Restaurant..... a hidden gem near deansgate (i think) .
The food was very very good..chicken livers for starters and an amazing Calzone for main course.

Walked past there on Tuesday, it did smell very good, we had already had some thing in the food court in Deansgate so couldn't try it

Mine. Just had it tonight:

Haloumi, Salad, Prawns, Peaches.
With the Haloumi, prawns and peaches done on the barbie.
Nice bottle of white......
Got to make sure the Haloumi is the real deal, and the prawns have got to be kingies (big ones).
You don't need much, if any dressing on the salad. Ours is usually just lettuce and cucumber.
10 Mins on the barbie

I hate Haloumi! Good old Liver and onions with lots of gravy and bread and butter to mop it up for me.

If it's a restaurant job, Italian and either pepperoni pizza or any pasta dish that takes my fancy. Love a good curry and ever since I was introduced to it, chicken tikka masala. Home grown food, I love sausage, mash and beans. Plain and simple but superb.

My mantra is that Italian food is only for lunch.

Take aways - I love a curry, normally a madras, but a decent chippy is always welcome and there aren't many about!
Restaurants - usually a steak as I'm not a fish lover.
Pubs - Tend to go for pies, steak n ale etc.
Home - sausage n mash always goes down well.
