Time to scrap FIFA

Indeed it is, I know that the FFA would probably support the release of that report. Though it probably wouldn't come to a split (though it should).
They (the FFA) were well and truly shafted in that vote. Palms were well and truly greased.

FIFA has seriously enriched some individuals.

FIFA is a bit like the EU. Corrupt and outdated and needs to be scrapped.

Good. Can't lie straight in bed those South americans. Somewhat ironic that he works for 'conmebol' eh?

What baffles me is how the Americans set themselves up to bust this FIFA corruption. Rightly of wrongly they do see themselves as the worlds policemen don't they?

Seems now that Blatter says the World Cup should never have been given to Qatar because it's too small a country! Question we must have answered now is is it any smaller now than when they won that dodgy vote?
He also reveals that Platini is as a bent as a nine bob note because he was working on President Sarkozy's instructions in order to secure a 14.5 billion deal for military planes for Qatar from France. USA being the host nation that missed out. Sarkozi has already done time btw for dodgy electoral funding https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-58729505 whilst Blatter and Platini have escaped a prison sentence for corruption by the skin of their teeth. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/08/sports/soccer/sepp-blatter-michel-platini-trial.html . Corruption it seems is rife in FIFA.
This was brilliant.....

Really silly thing to do by the Dane’s and weren’t you lot up to something with the captains arm band?
Now don’t get me wrong but I think tournaments like the World Cup should be totally non-political so FIFAs rejection is correct in my opinion. However, the tournament should never have been given to this corrupt country in the first place because it is 200 years behind the the western society. And as we know, FIFA is corrupt themselves so they both can bugger off for allowing this to happen so this will be the first World Cup I won’t watch on telly.

Indeed, Robin.
For myself, I shall not be watching any games, including the Aussies in protest (for what it's worth).
I'm glad the Aussie team has spoken out, but individually, we should make some kind of protest.
FIFA (and the IOC) the most corrupt organisations the world over.
Sport is for the people, by the people. It brings peoples together.

Like Dave above I have no interest in watching this WC. A corrupt, bent money tree.

My trusted source informed me that Jack Warner is in the shit! Another in a long line of corrupt FIFA officials. Read this.......... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Warner_(football_executive)#England_World_Cup_bid

The bent bastard couldn't lie straight in bed! However it appears the yanks, like the Canadian Mounties 'always get their man' and don't give up easily. His appeal against extradition has failed and he will have to face the music of his own making. Let that be a lesson to all football to appoint a man based on his expertise and ability rather than the colour of his skin. A finer example of tokenism I cannot readily think of.
