McGregor's a maniac but what he just did was hilarious and showed he's an extremely loyal friend. Those resenting his actions probably just wish they had the guts to do something like that. Its funny people getting all moralistic about men who choose to fight in cages. Trash talk and anti-social behaviour sells Boxing and UFC. Its certainly the type of thing that gets my interest. Mike Tyson being the ultimate example in the past.

Would I have done something like that in his position? Perhaps not but I'm not someone who has proficient cage fighting skills. Believe me there's been times where I've wanted to go after certain people (not cage fighters tho lol) but obviously ending up in jail isn't ideal. Plus there's that voice in the back of your head asking if certain things (like some of the past protest ideas on here, etc) are worth it. Especially if others won't do similar.

Hilarious ? Feck me it was bleeding idiotic and stupid. He could have killed someone
If you thought that was funny you must of wet yourself at city getting attacked .
So it takes a prick to being knob for someone to comment...what about big Al on one day's notice ?

Well I certainly wasn't complaining when West Ham did it to United. Certainly preferable to Rovers acting like some L2 club posting clips of their bus arriving as if we are supposed to be in awe of their presence. So would have been a bit hypocritical. I even said it was over the top for Guardiola to make a comparison with Dortmund. Once again how can anyone really be moralistic when they promote people fighting in cages lol. I've got no problem with that whatsoever but lets not pretend it's a shining beacon of society. Boxers and MMA fighters shouldn't have to worry about being role models.

What about big Al and the Denver girl tonight vinjay ?
I don't know about that or who they are. I don't know UFC's entire roster I hadn't even heard of the guy McGregor was pissed off at. If you're saying Big Al is a replacement at short notice for one of the fights that's their choice isn't it? I guess its annoying having to fight a replacement as well but surely that's part of any contractual agreement? Honestly the alternates should be pleased to get the opportunity so its not worked out badly for them.

When Rovers fans threw those snowballs at Venkys you would have preferred something far more solid lol. Maybe you feel McGregor had far less justification but as I say he's a man who fights in cages for a living lol.

You jumping on a bandwagon and making a tit of yourself by taking the pee out of something you clearly don't have a scooby about.
What's wrong with people who do martial arts ?

Nothing. I just don't see why boxers and MMA fighters should be pillars of society. I don't want them to be. Boxing and MMA is at its best when there's trash talk and anti-social behaviour. Promoters have encouraged that and a lot of fans like it. Its a bit hypocritical yes but I'm not sorry people like Mike Tyson exist lol. It might hurt UFC's image but like I've said cage fighting isn't for everyone anyway! I guess Golf isn't either but that isn't an industry that thrives on trash talk and conflict. Now if he had killed someone that would be different but they risk their lifes everytime they step into a ring, cage, etc. While most people don't want to see anyone killed its certainly a possibility as are severe injuries. Yes they were on a bus but when people happily pay to watch them put their health on the line I'm not gonna complain about a bit of trash talk and anti-social behaviour lol. They provoked McGregor as well and in that type of industry they are more likely to get a backlash. Usually its verbal but in this case it was more.
