Seems a bit strange, doesn't it.
There's a stoush going on between Cricket Australia and Australian Cricketers Association (the Union).
One side want this, the other wants that.
The players have claimed back their image rights.
It's looking like a stalemate at the moment.
It all come down to 30/6 and if it isn't sorted, then the ashes series, (if it's not aborted) will be seriously affected.
It's almost a replay of the Packer takeover in the late 70s, but without the TV rights involved. (as an aside, it's said that Channel 9 are losing $40mil per annum on their telecast of cricket).
