I use Pandora a lot, listen to a lot of Jazz, but like 60's stuff and particularly like 70's blues. Clapton etc and some US bluesmen like Stevie Ray Vaughan.
I've ended up buying CDs of the stuff I really like

sorry Abs, can't get into metal, and if I did the Mrs would probably ban me from playing it.
I have enough shit put on me from her about my Jazz, (she's into opera and classical).
I've tried spotify but can't get it to give me the music I want.

I suppose I am still a bit of a luddite with my music media, still got most of my vinyl and CD's. 1st album I bought in a shop was sergeant pepper then progressed onto Floyd, Zep, Proper Genisis, ELP, Stones, Quo, Heep, I can go on, what a great time for music the late 60's and 70's was. listen to all sorts these days

Yoda, there's a movement back to Vynil now, so you'll become trendy again.
The 60s and 70s were a great time for music. The 60s for me was in my formative years.
If I were to live my life again it would be teenage years in the 60s in the UK, early 20's in Sydney. In fact I'd like to live my life the way it's been.
With a few minor twitches it's been pretty good.

Only time that I listen to music is occasionally in the car. One of the 'Absolute' as a rule. I find just just sitting and listening to music to not only be a complete waste of time but virtually impossible. It's just background stuff whilst I do something else.

Spotify is great I think, I pay the subscription to avoid adverts. Agree with you Gord, Absolute or bust for me radio station wise. Indie/Rock is 90% of my music but try to stay open to good uns from other genres.

I'm basically a car only person and if I confess my tastes in music on here I'll just get the piss taken out of me. I never progressed past the Beatles really and if I'm honest my favourite pieces of music are the Blue Danube and Beethoven's Pastoral.
Sorry guys!:(

My bro's into classical music. Not my cup of tea but nothing wrong with it, really admire the skill involved. There's a piano-only version of Tonight Tonight by the Smashing Pumpkins on YouTube done by some random guy that is just brilliant.

You started at the pinnacle with the Beatles no problem sticking with them in my book. What's. The car history? This could turn into top gear lol

Vinyl is apparently making a come back so anybody want to play their own LP's in a pub? Butlers Arms has purchased a record player for just that purpose. Wed / Thurs nights take your own vinyl and away you go. Best blast from the past last night which remains in my head this morning (ear worm?) was Dillon's 'It's all over now Baby Blue'.

btw if I'm in just rem I control the volume!;)
