On this topic , read this morning about a school in East London , laughably called St Stephen's , where the Headmistress tried to stop girls under eight from wearing the hijab . The school , a secular state primary with a large Pakistani and Bangladeshi community , was forced to reverse the decision . The Head Mistress, Neena Lall, was compared to Hitler by a group of parents and 'community' leaders.

The irony of Islamic Fascists , attempting to force their medieval views onto pre-pubescent girls and then , when a brave public servant attempts to make a stand for the sake of these girls , compare her to the leader of German fascism .

What puzzles me is where are the militant feminists , the liberals and the lefties . Why aren't they outside this school protesting against the subjugation of these young girls ? Where is Lily Allan , Russell Brand , Jeremy Corbyn , Harriot Harmen , Lady Nugee , Diane Abacus , Shami Chakrabati , the Women's Equality Party etc etc ?
