    Transfer Speculation and Gossip

Can only work with what you've got, let's see what happens over the summer break. At least he tells it the way it is, as he did v Citeh to the spuds fans.

    Transfer Speculation and Gossip

With the way spuds fans reacted to their loss to Citeh, he'll be available in the next 12 months.

For a left back, point them in the direction of Jacob Farrell. Central Coast Mariners in the A league. Will do the job and more.

If Spuds fans carry on like this then I can see Ange walking. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cydrrdmn05go

When we were champions 94-95 season review

29 Years, where's it gone? The highlight of my Rovers history. Thanks Jack, for all you gave us, way back then. Some really good times since, but a lot of ( too much, IMO) mediocrity.

    Nature Notes

With all the talk of the aurora, here's an online article from The ABC. Some stunning shots. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-05-13/aurora-borealis-and-australis-captured-across-the-globe/103836752

    Season 24/25

I was going to start another thread, but this one is as good as any: I know its half a world away, a different league,, but can we take anything from this guys plan? It's a bit of a read, the story of a football club in a small catchment area. Read it through, it has two English connections...

    Predictions League 2023/24 Season

Well done Steve. Whilst I didn't participate that much this season, I've always kept an eye on those that seem to make the right decisions. Well done ODB (it must be a Darwen thing) and to Al, just for the consistency.

    VAR

No way, drog, all I'm suggesting it's an unnecessary intrusion. VAR is not appreciated, needed, or wanted. It's a waste of time, and becoming a blight on the game, much like the constantly changed offside rule.

    VAR

Funnily enough, Drog, the last meeting between these two clubs, McArthur had two players sent of after VAR intervened. If I remember correctly, one of them was overturned.

    VAR

He didn't award a penalty Drog, you can see when he gets the call from VAR, he's standing outside the area.

    VAR

Tilting at windmills, Robin. There's no point, the powers that be have all the say, they don't care what the fans think. It will start to sink in though, it has to and it's going to come from some of the clubs.

    VAR

Well, I'll go to bottom of our stairs. Sydney v McArthur in the playoffs, and guess what happened. McArthur have a player sent off after 27 mins. Ref had awarded a free kick and a yellow just inside the "D", when low and behold VAR tells him to have another look at it. Comes back yellow turns to...

    Politics

Do you really want these people in your country? There are people that do, and use the law to keep them in the country. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-68930088 There's blame with the father, there's more blame with the French, and a scumbag "refugee". I'm totally gobsmacked.

Ahem, Drog, most of those the court released here had ankle do dahs on them. They cut them off and leave them where they are supposed to be.
