I think Rotherham have made a cracking appointment though in Taylor! Mark Robins deserves a another big gig.

I reckon Brendan Roger’s will be gone soon, theres something not quite right about Leicester at the moment.

I heard a rumour last week that the Thai sons who’ve been left with the club have pulled all funding.
Oh dear. I certainly don’t think the players are playing for him anymore. Shame really, I haven’t forgotten the tales of FFP fiddling when they were promoted from the championship.

Spoken rather soon I'd say ODB. Looks like the next man out could be Steve Cooper. Leicester have bought no one whilst forest have bought more players than enough! quantity over quality?
Check out forests new team coach.

So Leicester found a side worse than them for once? I don’t think Roger’s will be there very long.

I was going to say managers not getting time and loyalty was one of the annoying things about the modern game. But then I remembered the stick Don Mackay got from a large section of the Rovers fans in the 1990/1991 season. He'd got us to the play offs the previous 3 seasons and was so close to getting us to the promised land in 88/89 season. He had no money to spend and at the beginning of the 90/91 season he lost probably our best 2 players, Garner and Sellars to long term injury.

Did he have any loyalty points in the bank? Did he bollocks, at that time I was going to every game home and away and I witnessed first hand some of the shit he took, it was well out of order. We fans want loyalty to our club from managers and players but it swings both ways, what happened to Claudio Ranieri at Leicester still winds me up to this day.

We'll obviously never know but what would have happened at Utd if their board had given Ferguson 1 less month than they did, who knows, but I doubt they'd have had the success they did.

Patience is a virtue and all good things come to he who waits, two saying's we should remember when tempted to judge things too quickly.

Slightly before my time but man thats depressing. As I say I'm only looking back at Mackay's time through reading about it, but his record of getting into the play-offs speaks for itself. I know he had none of the grossly unfair parachute payment clubs to battle, but Rovers still had the same paltry crowds/revenue we have now, so I'd imagine he was up against it until Jack arrived.

As you say, loyalty is a funny old concept to some fans. A source of rage when players/managers don't show it, barely a consideration going the other way (to managers/players, obviously fans are loyal to the club).
