I've no real knowledge/insight of the case but I bet it isn't clear cut. I know there isn't exactly a lack of criticism for Italian justice systems though.

He won't feel much heat especially if he wins his appeal and that's allowed despite being sentenced "in absentia". Brazil aren't gonna let one of their own citizens be extradited. UK had enough problems with that train robber!

I'm constantly amazed that rock and pop stars haven't been implicated in all these delayed sex offence allegations. Under age groupies must have been rife.
