Hate to say it but disagree ODB. We'll see how small Burnley are again next season in the Championship. Last season they bought a £10m striker in January who sat on their bench.
Football is a game of short memories, which creates the fairly comical attitude around yo-yo clubs of people thinking their players, manager, Board, owners and whole set-up is the dog's bollocks one season (Sky Documentaries even making the "Mission to Burnley" series), to everything lacking ambition and being woeful the next season. It'll be back to admiration for Burnley when they're bossing the Championship next season I fear.
Burnley have done it, and are doing it, the exact way Rovers need to do it if we can find a Sean Dyche miracle worker to get that first promotion. Go up, don't spend, come back down loaded and spend, go up again, become a yo-yo club. Which is a lot better for the attendances, the club, the town, the pubs etc than being a long-term Championship club.
