Another questionable purchase of a football club

The best bit about this one is, it's been called an "investment' by a questionable state.

"Investment" to me is making money out of the deal without doing much, other than trading.
I don't include asset stripping, increasing debt to fund the deal, as trading.

Shoot, I'm going downhill on the morality of owners of football clubs. They are getting worse. Some of these guys make Thaksin whatisname at City look like Mother Theresa.

Are The Premier League approving this purchase by a Saudi Arabian wealth group reportedly chaired by that Champion of Equality and Human Rights the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman ?

If so what about inclusivity, rainbow laces , BLM , taking the knee etc ? Time for Sky , BBC , Lineker , Shearer and those marvellous young men like Marcus Rashford to stand up for worldwide equality and human rights and boycott Premier League football until this deal is cancelled

Crikey....... The geordie faithful will be wetting themselves. Just as we did when Jack Walker began his spending spree, Just like Citeh, Chelsea and every other club's fans did when a rich overseas buyer rode into town. I recall the glee from the countless belly squirters over the road exhibited when the billionaire venkymob trapped up too. The warnings of doom by a few of us were derided and mocked by people who I'd wager will no longer go to Ewood anymore. Probably only fair to mention Forest, Portsmouth, Cardiff, Derby, Racing Santander etc etc as examples where all that glisters was definitely not gold.
