I had the great pleasure off meeting Ceaser once,until last night when it was mentioned during the city game I did not know Billy had passed.Met him in a bar in Mexico City during the World Cup 1986,he was with Archie Macpherson and another guy,in our group were city and rovers supporters and one Chelsea fan.As the Chelsea fan shook his hand he said what a pleasure it was to shake the hand off the 1st British player to lift the European cup.Billy was a bit took back and remarked that since the final 19yrs ago no one had ever said that to him before.We had a great couple off hrs in his company and he was very worried about our safety as England were playing the Argies the next day.He should have known lads from Shad and Moss Side were more than capable off looking after themselves.It was a great pleasure to meet him the boy from Bellshill.R.I.P
