Three clean sheets on the spin and 9 points! When did we last do that? We now have a damned strong midfield and a competent defence. The old adage applies..... NEVER change a winning side.

Charlie will have to warm the bench I'm afraid.

I really like rodwell in his new place but cant see who and how you move around when Charlie comes back
Charlie can play at left back and has done for Scotland. Its an ideal way to replace Williams and Bell.

Way too slow Al. No way can he get up and down the line and overlap Armstrong or whoever migt be there. I've seen him play LB once and I can't rem who it was against but he was very poor. Hopefully Bell is through his slump and I'm not ruling out his improvement coinciding with Charlie's absence either.

Exactly. CM will have to wait. To be fair to ToMo he is doing just that with Smallwood.

The brewery tour is booked......bring on Saturday o_O

Re: Smallwood ... He's going to struggle I fear because only injury or suspension can dislodge Lewis Travis imo. That form table and numerous clean sheets bears testament to his remarkable influence since he was given his chance in midfield. As I said many times he should have been given his chance earlier but even I've been surprised at how impressive he's been.

Very good PB, far to much time on your hands

Really tough place to go Brentford, they seem to have picked up of late after losing Dean Smith to Villa, and they don't lose many.

I think we can get a draw, but fear we'll lose 2-1

Great ticket sales by the way, its amazing what a pub on each corner of the ground and terracing can do!

There’s no reason why this currently rampant Rovers can’t win this . So I’ll go for three away points . The way the cricket’s going I might need cheering up tomorrow evening .

Old? How old?

Reminds me, when I was very young my father had come by a Daimler very similar to this one except in either very dark navy or black.

He had it for years and it had a pre select gearbox, running boards, doors that opened the wrong way, sun roof (!) and those strange little indicators which flicked up from the door column. It didn't have a spot of rust on it and was his pride and joy, unfortunately when that gearbox broke he couldn't afford the repair bill and so swapped it in for a Morris Oxford which at that time resembled a Morris 1000 on steroids. A proper rust box which corroded away in no time.
I dearly wish he'd been able to afford to shove the Daimler in the barn spray it with oil and covered it with a tarpaulin.

I'm going to be sat on a bus from Accrington to Manchester for almost the whole of the match thanks to the wonderful rail unions, so I'm getting my prediction in now.
Brentford 0-1 Rovers

I'll remember to watch out for edited posts too :p

The Wilpshire Hotel has an A board outside and it states quite clearly that they are showing Brentford v Rovers at 3pm.
Sod's law it's the Saturday when I can't watch :(

Current betting on Sky favours Brentford....
Home win 19/20
Draw 5/2
Away win 14/5

Now I'm not a betting man but anyone watching Rovers recently might see an away win as a good bet. I guess our poor recent away record is the reason although carelessness against 10 man Boro and the nightmare extra time shenanagins at Leeds would reveal a very different sequence. https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/blackburn-rovers/form-guide/away/four
Whatever I'll bet there's a bob or two going on that on and around the Humber estuary!

Now I've a feeling this will be a draw but the demolition of Hull and the determined attitude of the Rovers players is influencing my judgement...... I hope it isn't a case of after the Lord Mayor's show.
1-2
