Another disgusting night for football. The ONLY answer, apart from games behind closed doors, are fences. These pissed and drugged up nutters need teaching a lesson. It is bad enough watching Rovers away and witnessing our own cocaine fuelled ejits - I can’t even bring myself to call them fans.

The footballing authorities need to get this in hand . The amount of money swilling around Premier League clubs has never been greater , yet security within grounds is a joke . The Police are nowhere , and so Stewards on minimum / living wage ,many barely out of their teens , are given responsibility none of us would want . They are the ones who have to deal with these drugged up , drunk idiots .

The clubs whether they like it or not will have to spend big money on something other than player wages and transfer fees .

In addition points deductions and / or ground closures / playing behind closed doors .

I doubt fences will ever be re-erected

Noting to do with the cops unless the club will foot the bill, it’s private property after all. Why should the taxpayer pay?

Understand that and its exactly my point . The clubs are trying to ‘ police ‘ inside the stadium on the cheap using poorly paid stewards / security. With the amount of money swilling around football , the authorities should insist that the police are in attendance in numbers inside the ground and paid for by football , especially for crucial games when crowd trouble is more likely .

Blackburn Rovers like most clubs have regular cheap stewarding to satisfy health and safety legislation. In risk fixtures they employ private security companies with SIA registered staff with a bit more ability if you know what I mean. It's all about money at the end of the day.

If the league had any guts, they'd take the premiership from them. Just to let the fans know that this kind of behaviour is totally unacceptable.

Automatic 5 point deduction from now on suggested on talktv this morning.

The problem would obviously leave clubs open to a few rival fans doing it though, but if it's workable it needs implementing. Running on the pitch is after all illegal in this country.

Just as an addition the club should ban the thick twat who took his small daughter on to the pitch and the unbelievably lifted her on to the bar bar of a collapsing goal for a photo!!!! Some dickheads shouldn't be allowed to have kids! If I saw one of mine doing that on the telly they'd get a thick ear!

That would make an impression on the thickos.
