Butter Pies for Rovers!!

Ok. You stay slim and miserable. I'll stay with my butter and sugar and enjoy my food.

Easily avoiding butter and sugar for years does not actually make one automatically miserable at all.

Thing is I don't want butter on bread or sugar in tea or coffee, simple as that.

Slimmed down only since I cut down massively on the beer intake but still like bread and spuds.

None of my food habits were ever by design, just happened.

A proper village buthcher's pork pie, crickey I would pay dear for one of those. Still warm so the fat oozes out as it's eaten and then the wait until the heartburn begins. It would come, but worth it.

Neither had I. A steak pie with dollop of mushy peas in the middle of it.

Marsdens in Darwen used to make a mushy pea pie.

I was tempted to go in there the other day pre-Portsmouth ended up getting some fish & chips from caesars instead that was good, I don't know the area I was going to nip into a WMC to kill some time walking down on RHS but it looked shut & rundown. In relation to caesars there looked to be another WMC across the road further down I couldn't be sure? & didn't bother exploring went back to the station instead.

Wow! Do they still have working mens clubs in Rishy? Most of them in Blackburn are either inhabited by 70+ year old retired people who are bad at snooker or have become Islamic centres of one sort or another.

Why? I prefer WMC to pubs have a game of snooker, cheaper pint. I was CIU affiliated pretty much go anywhere used to go to buffs similar to being a Freemason.
