The Rovers need to sort out their catering arrangements in the concourses. I've noticed long queues at HT for food and drinks. What goes on? The ground rules are simple... you have 15 minutes to serve everybody who needs serving so sort it out? Little things or small steps even but the match day experience needs really going over. I've suggested in the past that the Directors need to sit with us Oiks on occasion to err 'enjoy' the match day experience from our seats. Maybe cushioned seats could be added to ST options too? Hard plastic being bloody cold in winter.

To be fair Rovers have been struggling with a shortage of catering staff and those that we have are not exactly doing it for the love of it. A new ‘beer bar’ in the area where they used to sell programmes (remember them ) has opened in the JW Upper to help reduce queues. Do what I do and take your own. Btw have you seen how many people are taking a pint or bottle to their seats

As for padded seats Drog I would be very surprised if you need one.

On Saturday a few were walking into their seats with beers bought on the concourse. It happens on a regular basis.

Well it shouldn't. Rules are rules but they mostly aren't enforced. Every home game I see a bloke who has been banned from Ewood but he's still managing to get in somehow.

Ah like my fathers white coffee with rum in it, part of my earliest memory of my first game in 1971.

If Rovers enforce the flavoured coffee issue there will be a mass desertion from the JWU. There are 5 guys in front of me who take turns with who brings the whisky coffee.

I have seen worse at Ewood. Can anyone remember ‘Nipper’ from Wade Hall in Leyland who until recently used to deal drugs at the front of the stand. When the authorities finally nabbed him he started to support WBA

He was blatant about it and seemed to do quite well. He even had a ‘minder’. He moved to the Riverside for a while. We used to have a right old laugh watching him and he used to carry on in full view of the stewards and the Police.

Odds on that he had a ST at PNE and Bolton too. Maybe an enterprising and resourceful chap like him could contribute to this thread?
