The Premier League are meeting on Monday to discuss playing behind closed doors. If this happens the EFL will no doubt follow suit.

That could mean we lose 7,700 x £40 for Leeds fans (+ beer monies).

However I suspect we will perform better at Ewood without our ‘fans’ slagging off the players.....it could be a good move for us ;)

Pay per view with canned crowd noise! Once supporters get used to that it'll be the end of football as we know it. Just as working from home will be experienced and adopted on a much wider scale.
But looking on the bright side.......... At least I'll be able to have a decent cup of coffee at HT and not the foul slurry that this new company serves up!

What did you think of the food in the Premier Suite on Thursday Gordon?

The soup was jolly good but the beef was as tough as old football boots. WB’s mushroom tart looked jolly good.

I’m still waiting for my coffee and chocolate.

I have to say that's twice I've eaten at a function at Ewood in the last three months and both under Sodexo.
I can't fault any of the three courses on either occasion.
Well presented and very tasty, especially as I'm probably one of a very few (perhaps the only one?) that they have to prepare vegan food for.
This was my main course on Thursday

About what one expects at those kind of do's BB where everyone has to be served at once. Beef was a little tough but nothing I couldn't handle. They need to change their butcher to ensure that doesn't happen again. The sweet course enough sugar in it to warrant a public health warning!

I didn't even know you were vegan WB. Do you not use Isinglass for all that beer you brew?

So WB what if you have a pint of cask in a pub?

Were you veggie first or did you dive straight into veganism?

Is being vegan like hallal where subjects are terrified of eternal purgatory to even have any medicine which contains a smidgeon of gelatine? Or is meat etc something which you just avoid if you can?

Ale is difficult because, unless you're in brewpub, the bar staff haven't got a scooby how the beer is fined.
There are unfined beers and breweries that use centrifuges, so they are safe but, to be honest, the amount of finings that ends up in your pint is so tiny that is not why I went vegan and if I get it wrong now and then, it doesn't worry me.
Yes, I was a vegetarian before becoming vegan.
I would never again eat any meat or dairy products but I'm aware that the odd smidgeon of something might slip through the net in some form or other that I'm unaware of.
At the end of the day, I just do my best to identify what I can and can't eat.

Oil hits $32 USD a barrel and shares moving in to bear market territory this morning. We've been warned that a serious correction is due, in the western economies, but could this virus tip us back in to a global recession?

Governments face the unappealing prospect of either protecting their citizens from a killer virus, by locking down airports and centres of commerce, or accept the inevitably of thousands of preventable deaths. Most appear to have chosen the former.

So far, both in Europe and North America, our elites appear to have entered the first two stages of grief: shock and denial. A recession seems inevitable, in any event, as global supply chains run in to the sand with the inevitable knock-on effects further down the line. Western governments will be, belatedly, forced to take much more radical measures than they would have previously, once the death toll starts to mount and public anger rises.

It makes no sense to 'give it a few more days' before acting as Rory Stewart, candidate for mayor of London, rightly points out here: https://www.cityam.com/coronavirus-...rities-should-look-at-shutting-down-the-tube/

Of course i have not got that virus but my Asthma is not half playing up. Coughing up all sorts. Yuck i know. Doing my exercises is almost impossible. Think a trip to the docs for some antibiotics will have to be done.

You’ll be lucky getting them , modern philosophy seems to be that Gps are refusing to prescribe them as they don’t want us to become immune to them.
