So the government have handed 8 teams a very distinct advantage - they can have home support and although it isn't a massive edge (yet), if these teams tiers ease further, they will be allowed an even bigger edge?

Or is it just all this shit is getting to me!!

1. If Rovers were allowed 4,000 we would probably lose £££’s due to the additional stewarding costs.

2. Who wants to go to Ewood when you will be chucked out for sneezing and calling xyz player a donkey?

3. We already have the advantage as we have become used to playing in front of an empty stadium for the last 8 years or so.

I haven't read anything recently regarding what the "lucky" fans will be allowed to do whilst in the stadium.
When this was all mooted a few months back, there was to be no singing, no shouting and no cheering.
So it could be that the fans will just sit in their seats and watch in silence.
Can't see that being a reality but it might not become the advantage that you and I are concerned about.

My concern is driven by the number of away wins across the leagues we have seen with no "home" fans, which in reality is the only driving force and advantage these days where every pitch is like a bowling green.
Fans get on players backs if they aren't pulling their weight - can you imagine the mood at Deepdale on Tues if they had some support?

I just think it gives 8 teams a distinct advantage

Stupid idea and totally unfair. When you go down the league and look at AFC Wimbledon for example then they are allowed 2000 fans. Isn’t that their normal gate anyway? They would therefore have an advantage over whoever they play at home.
Good job manure aren’t allowed any fans back as it’s a hell of a long drive from London.
