Bit too political that. There are lots of people whose lives are more at risk than footballers who must wait until their place in the queue comes up. Daft giving it to strapping fit and able chaps with too much money when others are still dying.

I have read similar saying that fans need football to be played for the mental health of the fans.
If I was a cynic I'd say ... nice try ....
As a Rovers fans I'd be more stable if we didn't play.

Bloody hell, what did all you Sam critics say about Chris Brown then?
I think Brown could have been better than he showed here. He was a one trick pony and was only OK with his back to goal knocking balls on or down for attacking midfielders. We never did that with him and I think he could have worked well with Armstrong and Rothwell. Certainly better than our two 'headline' signings from last year and for an absolute fraction of the cost.

When you dislike a player Frog you dislike them,I think Ben has proved to every unbiased Rovers fan he offers something,Sam ain't one of my favorites but is he not our 2nd leading scorer,and does put in a shift.I must admit I raised a eyebrow when we paid 5 million for him after his loan spell.
We could have built a half decent Championship team with 12m quid. Vastly overpriced the pair of em and we'll never get that money back at the end of next season let alone sell em on for a profit. Compare those two with any other member of the squad that we paid money for as young players. Kaminsky, Armstrong, Dack, Rothwell would all give a good return on our investment whilst Bell would likely not lose any. They have imo been £ for £ our worst buys since the dark days of Anderson and Kean and the signings of the likes of Best and Murphy etc.

Have to agree with some of the above posts about Brereton. He's had a decent season, and I think he'll improve, as he's still only 21. Mowbray clearly sees something in him and I suspect Mowbray sees it as a challenge to bring out Brereton's full potential. Let's not forget how frustrated we were with Armstrong when he was out on the wing, and not getting his head up, before Dack's injury. Brereton has all the physical attributes to get to the top, as he gets himself into great positions, but his composure often lets him down. That will click into place at some point and he'll be a bloody good 'un, I'll tell thee!
Chris Brown was the worst "player" I have ever seen in my life. Eeore is pretty useless but a country mile better than Brown.
