Just a tribute to Graham after his 100th Rovers appearance today. 16 goals this season and as a lone striker scoring is blummin hard work. Your primary duties are hold up, linking, giving the defence a breather type of play. Its no coincide to me that Dack's had the best season of his career so far playing behind Graham. The guy in front of him retains possession.

He's had far more than his fair share of critics in my opinion. No doubt the typical Rovers-fan thing of being spoilt rotten in the 90s/00s and becoming accustomed to the likes of Shearer, Sutton, Cole, Bellamy, Santa Cruz etc. But even at 32 years old I think we're lucky to have a player like Graham. Rhodes and Gestede will never score the premier league goals he has and the calls to shunt him out in favour of Nuttall earlier in the season have been shown to be totally ludicrous.

So bloody well done Danny, well on the way to being a Rovers legend in my eyes!

Good tribute BlueandWhite .

Graham has been excellent this season and is on a different footballing planet to Samual and Nuttall . Rovers went to pot after he was substituted . Hopefully he stays fit for the last 6 games

Well he didn't perform for me for whatever reason until the end of November and since then he has been great.
Today he looked tired, whether he's still carrying an injury or not, who knows.

I was told by both Vision Express and Specsavers that Joe Craig, John Omara and Ken Beamish were all Rovers legends but that was only in their eyes. ;)

John Omara!!
They would be having a moan if they had to watch him!! Rovers fans these days don't know how lucky they are

Credit to Mowbray as he has got the squad much leaner and fitter with both Conway and Graham being the major beneficiaries.

"Your primary duties are hold up, linking, giving the defence a breather type of play." Bang on b&w and that was always my criticism of Jordan Rhodes. He was absolutely pathetic at that to the extent that he never even attempted to perform any of those tasks. He was what was referred to in my day as a tart-liner.

Just as another observation Graham remaining fit is absolutely critical as unfortunately neither Samuel nor Nuttall belong in this division. If we are playing in the championship next year (fingers crossed) those two will need off-loading.

Sad to report this but I learned from 'Inside Right' last week it appears Danny Graham will almost certainly be moving on. Almost 35 his speed has noticeably decreased and I understand he is quite relaxed about the situation as being one of our biggest earners he realises his appearances last season do not justify his remuneration. The expectation is that he might be attracted to a season or two overseas to finish off his career.
A player with the attributes and know how of DG will be difficult to replace. Still our best target man by a country mile as I am concerned. How we will replace him I cannot say but we need to, and cheaply! When one considers that we've spent 13m plus wages on two wannabees who as far as I can see are equipped for League's 1 and 2 replacing DG must be a priority.

If Danny does leave that will be a massive body blow to the team . He’s a marvellous centre forward , albeit coming to the end of his career . Is their another younger Danny Graham out there who could give us three or four years ? I fear for the Rovers prospects if there isn’t .

That really disappoints me. We have nobody who can do what he does but he can't go on for ever. We badly need a proper replacement.
