A man, who, to some extent changed history.
Had a great chuckle, had great humility, hated no one it seemed.
The world is a bit sadder for his passing.

Disgraced himself, in my opinion, subsequent to his brave anti-apartheid stance in his own homeland, by backing the anti-Semitic BDS (“Kauft nicht bei Juden”) movement and using language about the Israeli state and the Jewish people that veered towards medieval bigotry and the good old fashioned blood libel.

This is the same man that lectured Jews to forgive the Nazis for perpetrating the Holocaust, whilst accusing Jews (the very victims) of using the Holocaust as a means to silence criticism of Israel, right?

Yasser Arafat had a nice smile and a great chuckle as well Dave; shall we fondly remember him too?
