I'm pretty sure the Burnley directors are well aware of that amo.
As for room for expansion? Burnley is a smaller town that Blackburn that's for sure but their catchment area is massive compared to ours with much more potential. They won't attract many from the west but there are lots of dingle hot spots to the south, east and north. Nothing east till the Bradford / Leeds conurbation in fact and the closest Premier League football club is another small town Huddersfield and Man City which is probably sold out most matches.

3 points yesterday for burnley who beat Fulham 2-1 at t'Tuff without having a bloody shot of target! Fulham scored all 3 goals! According to MoTD a team winning without scoring is only about the 6th time that has happened in Premier League history! Anyway it's 4 wins out of 4 since they dropped poor old Joe Hart! Must say I'd heard that Tom Heaton was off this window but all of a sudden he's back in the 1st team. From the highlights Burnley did the scruffy things well but Fulham were very unlucky too so either Fulham's team bus or Joe Hart must have run over a black cat some time recently.
