When we first started going there again in 2000, we got the whole CF end, now we only get half. I would hope the club would do a bit of deep thinking when the game at Ewood comes around. IF we're still right up there with a chance of the top 2 surely a cheap ticketing strategy would be of huge benefit.
I'd have the tickets at £20 not the likely £30, give them half the DE and put the Rovers fans in the other half. I reckon in that scenario we could pretty much sell out for that game and would end up making more money than getting say 5 or 6 thousand less on at the higher price. I know there are no guarantees we'd sell that many even if we're top, but having the chance of a packed Ewood with 85% Rovers in there is impossible to put a price on.
Maybe that doesn't make sense to some, but I'd hope the club would put a bit more thought into it than "How many Burnley fans can we get in at the highest price possible". A bit of creative thinking for that game PLEASE!
