EVERYTHING is wrong about this CL final though, appalling dross in every aspect. I would rather see some of this supposed "tear gassing" if anyone has any vids.

It was the same at Rovers v Celtic in the UEFA Cup. A 1,000+ forged tickets and their ‘fans’ pushing through the turnstiles 2 and 3 at a time. The DE Lower had an additional 2k ‘fans’ in that evening.

To give a different perspective I have just got off the phone to a LFC mate in Paris who went last night. He is very sensible and tells it how it is.

He said the organisation was chaotic with no apparent line of communication between different security and Police. The stand in front of him had “many 100’s of ticketless fans and the aisles were full of spectators”. He added that “there were many local French youths who were present hell bent on attacking and winding up the Police and that many of them gained entry.”

I trust his comments.

I just had a text from another friend whose cousin went last night. After the game gangs of ethnic youths were attacking Liverpool fans cutting bag straps with knives to steal the bags.

No BB.... I can remember it! Police at Hillsborough criticised for a hands off approach, Police in Paris criticised for learning the lessons of Heysel and Hillsborough and taking strong measures to have non of it in Paris. Anybody else detect the irony?
