So City v Liverpool part two today in the semi. I think City’s battering by Dirty Atletico will cost them today with the scousers to emerge triumphant. Tomorrow I have a sneaky feeling that Vieras Palace might do Chelski.

So City v Liverpool part two today in the semi. I think City’s battering by Dirty Atletico will cost them today with the scousers to emerge triumphant. Tomorrow I have a sneaky feeling that Vieras Palace might do Chelski.

My prediction screwed up too.
One thing which is depressing for ALL football in this country is that probably for the first time ever the FA Cup Final will be between the two teams that played in the League Cup Final. Great spectacle that the first match was it's sad that Sky have succeeded in turning the fine old English game in a carbon copy of Scottish football... and we all know how poorly supported that is with the other teams. Not only Scottish football too! Just about every european league is dominated by 2/3 super clubs. It cannot be healthy no matter how much the press and media try to persuade us all to be Superclub supporters. Back in the 60's and my days of getting Football annuals at Christmas there were 10 different clubs winning both the First Div and the FA Cup! Proper competition in a proper league with not a foreign owner in sight and hardly any overseas imports on the pitch.

Surely I can't be the only one that thought a breakaway European superleague was a good idea.

Getting rid of several of the 'English' glory hunter teams would have been good for English football.

So far the final is looking a lot like the last one between the 2 teams. Entertaining, but League 1 finishing meaning it's still 0-0 with an hour gone.
