After returning from the greatest festival in the world does anyone else go to any?

Just reading about ISIS threating Glasto. Evil.
If anyone is going don't do what I did drunk (blush) . We was on our way to watch Alestorm (pirate style metal) and we had blow up swords and parrots and I said to a policeman ..on guard .. to which he laughed and replied ...you do realise I have a loaded machine gun.

I know someone who got backstage and into Bowie's dressing room that night, him and Bowie went for something to eat on the motorway after! that one near Lancaster in the tower.

Did the Sex Pistols play at the Lodestar?

I've seen a poster with them advertised, but they never turned up apparently, plenty claim they played, but nobody seems to have seen them?

Think that is correct, the Boomtown Rats turned up, mind you it was their 1st gig in England

I saw some great acts up the Flying Bottle as well as the lodestar,

Fine Young Cannibals and Dr Feelgood to mention just a couple

My mate's abiding memory of Blondie at the Lodey was the size of Debbie Harry's nipples! Oh and the direction they were pointing in!:cool: I doubt they will still be the same now mind.

Exactly my thoughts Abbey. I've just about heard about Marilyn Manson although I couldn't recognise anything he's ever done. Who exactly are the rest?
